Tales of the Tuatha De Danann, Volume 2

The second in a series of books offering new translations of Irish myths focusing on the Tuatha D� Danann and Aos Sidhe, Tales of the Tuatha De Danann, Volume 2�gathers these stories in a single place, giving its readers a more literal translation to work with. Focusing on several of the adventure tales, this text includes a new translation of the Cauldron of Poesy, as well as a dual-language version of the Cath Maige Tuired�in its entirety.� The text is presented in both its original source languages of old or middle Irish with new English translations by the author. Many of the existing translations are nearly one hundred years old and often either exclude material or skew the translation to fit the mores of a more Victorian audience, while this one stays as true as possible to the source material.
